ABOUT ME

I’m a songwriter, producer and children’s show creator currently based in Wicklow.

Following an early creative career as one half of electronic vocal duo Hvmmingbyrd, receiving the Arts Council’s Young People Children and Education Bursary in 2023 reignited my creative spark and allowed me to pivot into creating music for younger audiences.

In 2023, my creative collaborator Chris Bubenzer and I were commissioned by RTE and Coimisiún na Meán to create, direct, write and compose a children’s story-driven music podcast, The Antix. We love seeing how kids respond to a range of different music genres, and featured a mix of hip-hop, electronic and pop songs performed by diverse range of Irish independent musicians including Jafaris (Sing Street), Jess Kav (Sister Fenix) and Niall O Halloran (NIYL).

I’m a collaborator at heart, and I love seeing what happens when you bring people together. In 2022 I set up a peer support network Parenting Artists Ireland to support the often conflicting worlds of artistic practice and new motherhood, and in 2020 I founded Bainne Beatha with others to advocate for improved support for breastfeeding parents. I was also a Dublin City Councillor from 2023 to 2024 in the North Inner City of Dublin.

I’m certified in Executive and Life Coaching, and my coaching skills (as a career and budgeting coach, and later as a money advisor) blend naturally with my creative work as I relish connecting with people and working together towards a shared goal.
